Test prep vs. Education

Kids don’t really learn from the worksheets and homework except how to do worksheets and homework.  What you want is a school where they will learn.  Where their minds will be expanded.  Then they will test well because they can think.  They will particularly test well as they get into the older grades when higher order thinking skills are required.  You can always get them tutored for a specific test.  That’s coaching, not education.  That takes a couple of months and can be done once a week after school.  Schools should be about learning, not test prep.  And you want them to love going to school.
