Many public schools are now collecting feedback from parents to improve gifted programs.
Will the public school permit access and scheduling allowance so gifted may attend local college and university courses?
What about web access to coursework?
Private schools (many with hefty annual tuition) want to recruit the best and brightest, but what is provided when students excel and complete curriculum years in advance of academic program, in a particular subject? Do private schools have a responsibility to provide enriched academic program to profoundly gifted?
Normally profoundly gifted also have very advanced emotional intelligence; how will that aspect of gifted be addressed, nutured and supported?
