New Gifted School in NYC

A new school for gifted and talented children opened this fall in Brooklyn. The Brooklyn School of Inquiry is written about here, on examiner.com. Examiner.com also gives a brief overview on gifted and talented education in a separate article, here.

It is wonderful that new options are becoming available for G&T children, for whom mainstream schools aren’t usually the best fit. Not only do G&T children need further opportunities in the areas in which they excel, but they also typically need extra support in areas of academic weakness.
